Lite 95.9 has a brand new morning show...Mookie Wilson and Billie Jo Ross! Mookie and Billie Jo will start your day with a smile, plenty of music, and the news, weather, and traffic information you need.

For Mookie, it's his second time around in Calgary. He and his family have always loved our city and vowed to someday return. Billie Jo is a small town Saskatchewan girl, and having worked on stations big and small over the last 15 years or so, is thrilled about coming to Calgary. Click here to read their full bios.

Why are you excited to be living in Calgary? 
Mookie: Calgary is the most amazing city in the world. My family and I couldn't wait to move back. From the majestic mountains, to the friendliest people in the world. In a word, Calgary is AWESOME!!
Billie Jo: I can't wait to be close to the mountains. And family.  We have an aunt and uncle here and cousins. Lots of little cousins.

Is there anything in particular about Calgary you're excited to do? 
Mookie: Hooking up with old friends and spending as much time in the mountains as humanly possible!
Billie Jo: Camping, lots of camping in the mountains. And checking out the new baby giraffe born at the zoo.

What is it about morning radio you love? 
Mookie: Forming first impressions for people's days. Our job is to provide relief for the daily grind.
Billie Jo: I love being the first one in the house to read the paper;) There's nothing better than sharing a cup of coffee & conversation with a friend (Mook) first thing in the morning. Ohhhh and golf...early morning hours work well!

If you weren't in radio, what would you be doing?
Mookie: Playing for the Flames.
Billie Jo: A Nurse.

Describe your dream day?
Mookie: As much time with my family as possible. Time spent with family is never wasted.
Billie Jo: Staying in our PJs till 11am & enjoying breakfast with the whole family, a play date at the park, squeeze in a quick 9 holes of golf, cook chicken fir dinner on the BBQ while enjoying a nice glass of red wine, and to end my dream day a movie night in bed with my two boys...perfect!

Do you have any hobbies? What do you do in your spare time?
Mookie: Golf. Ski. Hike. Coach hockey and baseball. Charity work.
Billie Jo: I love to golf & curl. I've scapbooked on occasion & make my own cards...I just need more time.

Tell us one thing we don't know about you. 
Mookie: Also an actor. Have done many stage plays and works of Shakespeare. Oh ya, love Dancing With The Stars and The Bachelor.
